Strip Doors / Curtains
Choose one of the following designs to suit your application:
Surface Mount Strip Door:
Best suited for applications where doorways require a tight seal. The Surface Mount mounts flush over the opening providing a maximum seal. This style requires a minimum of 6” clearance over the door and 3” on each side. Ensure wall will support weight of strip door.
Angle Mount Strip Door:
Best suited for doorways where no space is available for a Surface Mount. The Angle Mount mounts under the lintel of the opening. Ensure lintel will support weight of strip door.
Off Wall Mount Strip Door:
Best suited for overhead door tracks that interfere with the mounting of either an Angle or Surface Mount. Ensure inside wall at the side and top of overhead door will support weight of strip door. Ensure 12” projection strip door will not interfere with operation of overhead door.
Sliding Mount Strip Door:
Best suited for applications where temporary removal of the strip door is required. Ensure there is a 12” clearance above door and enough clearance on one side of door opening to slide strip door clear out of the way. The wall above door opening must be able to support weight of strip door and track.
Two Way Swing Mount:
Best suited for applications where temporary removal of the strip door is required and there is not enough room on the face of the wall to mount a Sliding Mount Strip Door. The Two-Way Swing Brackets have a pullcord activated centre latching mechanism. Ensure jambs of door opening will support weight of strip door and brackets.
Strip Curtains / Replacement Vinyl
Resistance required – the smaller in width a strip is and the smaller the overlap, the less resistance it provides. Conversely, the larger the strip and the overlap, the more resistance it provides.
The following grades of vinyl material are available:
Standard Grade:
Clear and smooth. Suitable for most average applications.
Temperature Range: -20°F to 150°F (-28° C to 66° C).
Formulated with ingredients that meet USDA requirements for incidental food contact.
Variations:
Ribbed grade – for greater abrasion resistance and longer lasting clarity.
Reinforced – for greater shear resistance throughout the length of the strip.
Sheet material – for larger width applications.
Low Temperature Grade
Clear and smooth. Suitable for coolers, freezers and certain exterior applications.
Temperature Range: -40°F to 140°F (-40° C to 60° C).
Formulated with ingredients that meet USDA requirements for incidental food contact.
Variations:
Ribbed grade – for greater abrasion resistance and longer lasting clarity.
Reinforced – for greater shear resistance throughout the length of the strip.
Extra Low Temperature Grade
Clear and smooth. Suitable for blast freezers.
Temperature Range: -75°F to 140°F (-59° C to 49° C).
Formulated with ingredients that meet USDA requirements for incidental food contact.
Safety Strip Grade
Translucent orange color and smooth. Good for increasing safety and visibility. Also can be used to create a visual separation between areas.
Temperature Range: 0°F to 150°F (-18° C to 65° C).
Weld Screen Grade
Bronze color and smooth. Best suited in applications where limited ultra-violet light penetration is critical.
Temperature Range: 0°F to 150°F (-18° C to 65° C).
