Mobile Shelving
Mobile shelving is simply mounted shelving onto wheeled carriages. The carriages roll on rails (either embedded in, or surface mounted) on the floor.
Mobile Shelving is designed to store up to five times more files in the same space as conventional systems by maximizing the use of the floor space for storage. Mobile Shelving systems eliminate the need for several access aisles. Since the shelving moves along floor tracks, the space for only one aisle is needed. When an item is required the particular shelving bay is identified and an adjacent aisle is created by moving the mobile units apart. Your system can operate with either hand operated pull handles, hand wheel driven mechanical systems, or electrically operated using small electric motors with push button control.
Mobile units can be closed and locked together to prevent unauthorized access.
